The vivo X Fold5 has officially arrived in the Philippines. it is the first foldable to come into Southeast Asia, and it comes with plenty of flagship hardware and features.
The vivo X Fold5 launched globally last month alongside the V200 FE. Though not their first foldable, it is their thinnest yet at only 4.3mm thick. There have been improvements on its chassis with its 2nd Generation Armor Architecture Support Hinge to make it more durable and IPX8, IPX9, and IPX9+ water resistance.
Powering the device is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage, and a 6,000mAh battery. It supports 80W FlashCharge and 40W Wireless Charging, and runs on Android 15 with FunTouch 15 with a promise for 4 major Android upgrades.
Its main display measures in at 8.03 inches with a 2480 x 2200 resolution while running at 120Hz. On the other hand, its cover screen is a 6.53-inch 2748 x 1172 120Hz display. The two screens will have 20MP f/2.4 front-facing shooters.
Rear cameras include a 50MP f/1.6 PDAF OIS main shooter, a 50MP f/2.6 periscope telephoto with PDAF, OIS, and 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP f/21 ultrawide. As with most of their high-end devices, they have partnered with ZEISS to improve photo quality and include custom exclusive filters.
The vivo X Fold5 is priced at PhP 109,999 in the Philippines. It will come in a 16GB/512GB configuration with a Titanium Gray Finish. As part of its launch, every purchase of vivo’s flagship foldable will net you a vivo Watch GT (PhP 7,099), vivo VIP card with PhP 7,000), and vivo Life Bag (PhP 1,299) for free.
They also support 0% interest payments via Home Credit and major credits. The device is now available at vivo concept stores nationwide.
