The Vivo X21, the brand’s first smartphone with an in-display fingerprint scanning technology, has been finally launched in the Philippines. Positioned higher than the V9, the Vivo X21 offers a more powerful experience in a familiar form factor.
The Vivo X21 comes with an improved 6.3-inch, 19:9 notched display. Instead of an IPS panel, the X21 now has a Super AMOLED screen to improve color reproduction. The fingerprint scanner has also been integrated on the bottom half of the display so there’s no ugly fingerprint scanner recess at the back of the screen.
The rear camera is now dual rear camera setup with a 12MP f/1.8 with Dual Pixel Sensor for the primary and a 5MP f/2.4 secondary shooter both of which are backed by a dedicated LED Flash. At the front is a 12MP f/2.0 with Dual Pixel Sensor with Screen Flash.
Performance is provided by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. Power, meanwhile, is supplied via a 3,200mAh battery. Here are the full specifications of the Vivo X21:
