The already economical vivo Y16 is getting even more affordable thanks to a PhP 1,000 price drop for its 4GB/64GB variant. You can now have the entry-level device at only PhP 6,999 from its original entry price of PhP 7,999 when it was launched last year.
The vivo Y16 sports a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage. For imaging, it packs a 13MP f/2.2 main camera and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor at the back, and a 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera at the back.
A 6.51-inch 1600 x 720 IPS screen adorns the front. Despite only being 8.19mm thick, vivo is able to fit in a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging through its USB-C port. Its power-button also doubles as a fingerprint scanner for additional security. It runs Android 12 out-of-the-box with FunTouch OS 12.
