vivo has already launched the T series, X80 series, and the Y series to give Filipinos a wide access to their smartphone. It seems that the brand is planning to launch a new addition to the Y series, the vivo Y16 which promises gaming performance and long battery life at an affordable price.
The vivo Y16 is rumored to sport 4GB RAM and will be available in 64GB and 128GB storage variants. This should allow the smartphone to store more files and have enough RAM for multi-tasking. It seems the brand will also be equipping it with a 5,000mAh battery that can last long hours of gaming, streaming, and music playback.
To complement its large battery, vivo will also be equipping it a 6.51-inch Halo FullView display with eye protection mode. Users may also expect features like a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and facial recognition for easier unlocking.
For gamers, the device will have Multi Turbo 5.5 for no-lag performance and Ultra Game mode for better gaming experience.
vivo is promising high-quality photos and accentuated details for its imaging system. It may also have an Aurora Screen Light feature to provide extra light to illuminate low-light scenes.
As for its design, style and comfort are to be expected from the brand and this will be no different for the vivo Y16. The brand says that it will be lightweight and will only be 8.19mm thick.

vivo has yet to announce the official launch date of the vivo Y16 in the Philippines. Given that rumors are already being picked up, we expect that the smartphone will arrive soon locally.
