The vivo Y36 has officially arrived in the Philippines. It is being positioned as a lower midrange device packing a Snapdragon 680 and a 50MP f/1.8 main camera. Alongside the launch is the unveiling that Anne Curtis will be vivo’s brand ambassador for its smartphone releases.
Priced below PhP 15,000 in the Philippines, the vivo Y36 comes with a Snapdragon 680 chipset with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, a 6.64-inch 2388 x 1080 90Hz IPS screen, and triple camera setup at the rear with a 50MP f/1.8 shooter and two 2MP f/2.4 secondary lenses.
At the front is a 16MP f/2.0 selfie camera. As usual, it is being powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 44W FlashCharge. It will run on Android 13 with FunTouch OS 13 that can expand its RAM via software.
vivo has also announced that Anne Curtis is its new brand ambassador. Known as a multi-faceted actress, she constantly breaks boundaries like a true powerhouse across screen and stage. The brand envisions to match her top-notch performance with the Y36.
