Activision Blizzard has recently bought King Digital Entertainment for a whopping 5.8B USD. King Digital’s games had 474 million monthly active users in the third quarter of 2015; their games include the super popular Candy Crush Soda, Candy Crush, Alpha Betty , Bubble Witch 2, Farm Heroes, Pet Rescue, among many others.

Activion Blizzard is the parent company of both Activision and Blizzard Entertainment. They own major games such as Call of Duty series; Skylander, Tony Hawk Pro Skater franchise, Guitar Hero, Destiny, World of Warcraft, Starcraft, Diablo franchise, Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch. With the addition of King Digital Entertainment under their belt, they could grab the oppurtunity to add onto their gaming portfolio with a huge mobile market through social gaming.
