Ancients bear the honour of carrying their Chapter’s precious standards into battle, which incorporates the remains of fallen heroes. In their presence, battle-brothers are inspired to emulate the legendary deeds of these paragons of old.
Adjacent friendly units have an added Block with X Block Chance, and +X% for each round that has started, to block X Damage this turn and in the following enemy turn.
All friendly units within 2 hexes ignore their Battle Fatigue trait and – unless they already have it – count as having the trait Final Vengeance, with final attacks dealing 20 Damage.
When this unit loses its last Health, it immediately performs a normal attack on an eligible target and is then defeated as normal, unless Overkilled.
This unit reduces incoming melee multi-hit attacks by 1 hit, to a minimum of 1.
