After months (and years) of waiting, we finally get the Blood Angels box set and as expected, it’s filled with mad angels of the God-Emperor. Containing units from the Death Company, these troops will definitely make short work of anything that reaches their melee range. Get to know what’s inside the Blood Angels box set, pricing, and availability by reading this article.
In addition to the models above, the box also includes dataslate cards.
The Blood Angels set also comes with a Codex Supplement with an exclusive cover. If you’re looking to play immediately once it’s out, then best get the box.
However, if you can be patient and wait for a couple more weeks or months, you can also get the standard Codex Supplement: Blood Angels in its regular format. Note that you also need to have the Codex: Space Marines for you to properly play the Blood Angels in the 10th edition.
Basing on the previously released box sets, we can safely say that the price of the box set is around US$220 / £135 / PhP 10,799.
Army box sets can be pretty expensive upfront but the contents of the box themselves are heavily discounted. If you collect Blood Angels, getting this box is a good way to cost-effectively jump start your army or add to your existing one. The models, while not new, look surprisingly good given that the Blood Angels upgrade sprue has been updated.
Based on existing models, we can try to breakdown the price of each model/unit included inside the box:
Model Price if purchased separately is US$385.5. You save a whopping 57% for just the models if you buy the box.
No details as of yet on the release date of this box Set. However, we can expect it to release within a few months. If you are already looking at getting your own set, give your local hobby store a call and express your desire so they can reserve you a box once ordering is up and running.
