During the whole slate of the TCL 25 Years Event one particular product stand out in our eyes, which is a 34″ Curved Monitor particularly modeled as the 34R83Q HDR Monitor.
This monitor was in demo mode in standard PCs so the high refresh rates and gaming wasn’t able to be demonstrated. But initial impression of the monitor in terms of color, menu and even build makes it a very worthy monitor to look.
Specifications are as follows
A joystick is used to navigate the menu which was rich in features, even better than most monitors in the cheaper end which are cheap text based UIs. The back is built with an LED strip light that changes color, perhaps also reacts to the monitor’s commands.
Build wise its really robust and worth checking out, hope we get to test it more once we know more details about it. Pricing we saw in SGD is around $1,099 which is around 45,000 pesos when directly converted, if so then we have a new contender in the gaming monitor space and it’s no novice in the display category as TCL is definitely a leader in TVs and Panels with their QLED technology.
