WD introduces the WD purple, NV, a hard drive purposedly built at a 3.5″ form factor with capacities of 4TB and 6TB for demands under scalable surveillance systems.
This new WD purple NV will is designed for a larger-scale network surveillance systems utilizing higher hard drive bay counts and greater numbers of attached cameras. It is also designed to withstand the demands of always-on digital NVR recording environments as it offers low power consumption for even more savings.
The WD Purple NV will come in both 6TB and 4TRB variants and are covered by a three-year limited warranty.
