Coming as a surprise to some, the legendary Attilan Rough Riders are now back in WH40K. These new models bolster the already impressive line of the new Warhammer 40,000 Astra Militarum (Imperial Guard). So what are these Attilan Rough Riders? When would they release? How much for one box? Read to know more.
Attilan Rough Riders are now out and you can order them on Games Workshop or buy them at your LFGS.
Tank are out and horses are now back in style. Aside from the new models, the upcoming new rules for them indicate that they will have the PLATOON and CORE keyword. This means that they can enjoy the benefits of orders from officers and other faction bonuses.
In other news, the new Rogal Dorn Battle tank has been unveiled. Read more about it here.
Although we have yet to see the full stats of the new Attilan Rough Riders, we do get a glimpse of its melee loadout, the hunting lance:
Aside from the lance, the Rough Riders can be armed with Lasguns, allowing them to deal damage from range.
No release date as of yet for the Attilan Rough Riders. However, we can say that it will coincide with the release of the recently announced Cadia Stands box set. But given that new units for the Leagues of Votann are still not out despite it being released a few weeks ago, it’s safe to expect the new Rough Riders to also be delayed. Here’s hoping that the box will release this year.
The official price for the Attilan Rough Riders is US$60 / £37.50 for 5 models. This unit can be had for cheaper if your local hobby store offers some discounts.
The official article on the Attilan Rough Riders is on Warhammer Community. If you fancy adding this to your collection, why not start with the newly announced Astra Militarum box set? Or better yet, why not some newly minted Kasrkins? You can also add the new Lord Solar into the bunch.
