The new set of Warhammer 40,000 Battleforce Boxes has just been officially announced. Part of the highly-anticipated sets, these WH40K Battleforce boxes appear only during the end-of-the-year holidays and features huge discounts. One apparent difference with this year’s lineup of boxes is that they all contain “centerpiece” models. Get to know the WH40K Christmas Battleforce Boxes this 2022 and more using this handy list.

There are a total of eight boxes for this year. We have six boxes for Imperium factions and 2 boxes for Chaos. Sorry, Xenos players. There’s no box for you guys this 2022.

Personally, the Imperial Knights box is a sure buy for me since I find it hard to get Armigers here in the Philippines. The Adeptus Custodes box is also incredibly tempting given that it may be a viable force if bundled together with an Adeptus Custodes Combat Patrol. If I’m going to start an Adeptus Custodes army, this may be the box to help me decide to push through.
In general, these boxes are likely aimed at newer players and for those still on the fence on starting a new army. In some cases, these boxes are a way to bundle unsold models (looking at you Heavy Intercessors!)
Prices are finally out for these WH40K Battleforce boxes for 2022 and fortunately, no price increase for this year. Each Battleforce box for Warhammer 40,000 is priced at US$210 or £130. We can definitely agree that this price is too good if you are planning to start a new army.
As usual, these Warhammer 40,000 Battleforce box sets usually release near the end of the year. Last year, pre-orders started during the first week of December and we can assume the same to happen for this year. For release date, we can also deduce that these Battleforce boxes for 2022 will arrive on the 2nd week of December (or January 2023 here in the Philippines).
If you want to secure a box, I highly suggest that you contact your local hobby store to quickly get your name onto one. These boxes usually vanish just after a few days on store shelves so save yourself the hassle and reserve one if you find one or two to your liking. Should you plan on not buying this year, you might find spending your hard-earned cash on the new Astra Militarum box set or the upcoming World Eaters faction next year.
