After the numerous new teases during last week’s Warhammer Fest 2022, we now finally get a glimpse on the Chaos Space Marines Combat Patrol. For those unfamiliar with the term, a Combat Patrol is a box set that contains 25 Power Levels worth of units. This makes it enough for a small “Combat Patrol” game. Now, lets take a look at the units inside the box, pricing, and release date.

Chaos Space Marines Combat Patrol Contents

Chaos Space Marines Combat Patrol

As per the image and details shared by Games Workshop, the Chaos Space Marines: Combat Patrol box set will contain the following models:

  • 10 x Chaos Space Marines (Troops)
  • 5 x Havocs (Heavy Support)
  • 1 x Helbrute (Elites)
  • 2 x Dark Disciples (Elites)
  • 1 x Dark Apostle (HQ)

Total of 19 models in the box.

No New Sprues Included

New Chaos Space Marines

As per the image, it seems that the Chaos Space Marines included in this Combat Patrol are the multi-kit ones without the new sprue included in the Kill Team Nachmund box set. We can only hope that they include it in the final package as the new sprue adds more variety and customization options.

CSM Combat Patrol Pricing & Availability

Same Pricing As Other Combat Patrol Boxes

All Combat Patrols, regardless of the faction, are sold at the same price point (mostly). We can assume the same here. The Chaos Space Marine Combat Patrol is being sold at £90 / US$150. This Combat Patrol may have a price tag of Php 8,250 here in the Philippines.

This Combat Patrol box is now available and can be purchased from third-party stores or directly from Games Workshop.

Savings & Comparison

If you buy each unit individually, the total cost amounts to US$218. Compared to the US$150 asking price for the Combat Patrol, you get roughly a 31.2% discount for buying them as a set.

What Happened To Start Collecting Chaos Space Marines?

Chaos Space Marines Start Collecting

It seems that Games Workshop has already purged the cheaper and popular Start Collecting Space Marines from their web store. As some models are exclusive only for that box, like the Venomcrawler and the Obliterators, they may reappear as their own in a different package or as web-store only orders.

Aside form this new combat patrol, a new Daemon Prince has been revealed. You can read about it here.
