In Xenoblade Chronicles 3 (XBC3), players can increase Alexandria’s class, Incursor, rank to 20 by completing an Ascension Quest. Get to know how to unlock the Ascension Quest for Alexandria (Incursor), tips, and more using this guide.
Like other classes, in order for you to remove the limit and allow the Incursor class to reach 20, you must first have a character with rank 10. Make sure to have at least one character with rank 10 to get the info required for Alexandria’s Ascension Quest to spawn.
Chapter 5 is where you can find Alexandria’s Ascension Quest. You can also choose to immediately do this side quest or delay it for later. You can do this quest immediately after you progress the story and unlock the City.
“Scant Supplies” is a side quest required to make Alexandria’s Ascension Quest to appear. Make sure to complete this quest and its prerequisite side quests by wandering around Colony Iota after every significant game event. After clearing “Scant Supplies”, you will finally get to Alexandria’s Ascension Quest: “Inescapable Past”.
If you have done all of the above conditions, a question mark pops up in Colony Iota. Approach it to trigger a cutscene with Gambert and Chickadee to get the quest “Inescapable Past”.
In the first part of this quest, Robobuddy turns against Valdi and attacks the team. The fight is pretty straightforward and is a taste of what you will encounter later. After the fight, proceed to follow Robobuddy’s tracks to get to the next part of this side quest.
Moebius Q and two Armadillos are the bosses of this Ascension Quest. Defeat both and you’re on your way to unlocking Alexandria’s class rank limit. First concentrate on the two Armadillos and once they are down, pummel Moebius Q to submission. After the fight, return to Colony 30 the “Inescapable Past” Ascension Quest.
