XBC3 Ethel Ascension Quest – How To Unlock
Unlocks In Chapter 6
Ethel’s Ascension quest is unlocked in Chapter 6. However, you must first clear a couple of quests first before you can get it.
Finish Mio’s Ascension Quest
Mio’s Ascension Quest is required to unlock Ethel’s Ascension quest. This quest is essential to the story so you won’t miss it. After you clear this quest, go back to Colony Omega to recruit Cammuravi.
Recruit Cammuravi
After finishing Mio’s Ascension Quest and defeating the Consul of Colony Omega, head back to the colony to trigger a cutscene. After the cutscene, Cammuravi will join your team and you will then have to complete his Hero Quest. Recruiting Cammuravi is essential to unlock Ethel’s Ascension quest.

- Rank Up Seraph To 10
- Rank Up Flash Fencer To 10
- Select Cammuravi as an active member of the party
- Go To Colony Omega
- Have Ethel Undergo The Maturation Process
Rank Up Seraph & Flash Fencer To 10
Cammuravi is closely tied to Ethel’s Ascension Quest. To be able to unlock both of their classes’ rank 20, you first have to level up your party’s Seraph Rank to 10. Any character is alright as long as you get one of them with a rank of 10. Taion is the recommended character for this as he is the inheritor of the Seraph class after you clear Cammuravi’s hero quest.
You also need to have the Flash Fencer Class to Rank 10.
Go Back To Colony Omega
To start Ethel’s Ascension Quest, go back to Colony Omega after you get your Seraph Class Rank to 10. Have Cammuravi join your active party and go towards the door under the Ferronis. If done correctly, Cammuravi will start a conversation about secrets being hidden inside the base.
Continue inside and go down the hall. At the end of the hall is a room with a cradle inside. Interact with the door to trigger a cutscene.
Have Ethel Undergo The Maturation Process
After the cutscene, you will then be prompted with a choice. Choose “Yes” to have Ethel undergo the maturation process. Watch another cutscene to then be rewarded with the completion of both Ethel’s and Cammuravi’s Ascension Quests.
