In Xenoblade Chronicles 3 (XBC3), players can increase Ghondor’s class, Martial Artist, rank to 20 by completing an Ascension Quest. Get to know how to unlock the Ascension Quest for Ghondor (Martial Artist), tips, and more using this guide.
Ghondor’s Ascension quest, “Promise to the Future” is unlocked in Chapter 7. To unlock the quest, one of your party members must have the Martial Artist Class at Rank 10.
You can immediately take this side quest once you enter the Agnust Caslte during the start of Chapter 7. Just have Ghondor in your party and head towards the question mark located at the second floor, just above the Station Breakroom.
Go to Singbreeze Funnel Area in Fornis Region and talk to the injured Keves Soldiers to jumpstart the quest. Follow the path towards the west to encounter three Giant Gogol and defeat them to continue.
The next part requires you to follow the Jumbo Tirkin tracks. It’s not that difficult if you have a high enough level as enemies will ignore you. Otherwise, prepare for some battles here and there until you reach the Jumbo Tirkin family.
The Jumbo Tirkin orders you to look for a couple of items. The first two ones, the Juicy Broccoli and Zapcap, are likely to be already in your possession. The last one, Springroot, requires you to go around the Ag’s Talon. Go around and pick ten Springroot then head back to meet the Jumbo Tirkin.
Once you get back to the Jumbo Tirkin, defeat the Keves Soldiers to end the quest.
