In Xenoblade Chronicles 3 (XBC3), players can encounter a white fog while traveling the Erythia Sea. Closing in on the fog unlocks the “White Fog on Erythia Sea” info. However, the side quest requires two info to unlock. So where do you find the next info to unlock the quest? Read this guide to know more.
The first clue can be found as a question mark on the map in Cadensia Region. This question mark spawns after discussing “Li Garte Prison Information” at the Vinisog Holm Camp. Head towards the question mark to trigger a cutscene and get the first info.
Contrary to what you are used to, the second info for White Fog on Erythia Sea is located inside the City and not in the Cadensia Region. You can find the person talking about it on the second level, near the entrance to the City. Use the map above to get the second info.
Once you have the two info, you discuss it with the team to unlock “The Mysterious White Fog” side quest.
The first few steps requires you to head towards the locations where the fog is thick. Heading towards the first two triggers a cutscene directing you to the next one. The third one is the climax of the quest where in you need to fight a couple of monsters.
The monsters that produce the fog are called Misty Medooz. You get ambushed by four of them once you are inside the third fog. Defeat them then talk to Kisame to finally clear the quest.
