Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass in now live here in the Philippines. With a small amount equal to that of a value meal, you can enjoy a boatload of high-quality games, 400+ as of writing! As it is a subscription service, you have to pay regularly to access the games. How do you actually do it here in the Philippines? How much is it and what is the price of the monthly subscription? In order to subscribe to Xbox Game Pass, you must have a Microsoft account ready. To do this, click this link and register first. Note that you can use your existing Google accounts to register.
To access the games, open the Xbox App on your PC. Then, log in with the account that you used to subscribe to Xbox Game Pass. On the upper-right side of the window, you can select the “Game Pass” menu. From there, select the games that you want to install on your PC. Once the installation is done, you can finally play the game.
Unfortunately, the Philippines has yet to get its own region for the Xbox console. As of the writing of this guide, only the PC version of the Xbox Game Pass is available. Depending on the circumstances, we may see the implementation of its console counterpart here in the future.
As stated, the first three months of your subscription nets you just PhP 49. In addition, you also get two months for free. Suffice to say, a great deal of value and it costs roughly a huge serving of some popular local street stalls here. Definitely cheap and cost-efficient for the number of games that you get to play.

Unfortunately, no free trial for Xbox Game Pass subscription here in the Philippines. You do get the reduced amount for the first three months and that’s it. If you find yourself not satisfied with the Xbox Game Pass, you can opt to cancel it.
To play a select number of EA games, you first need to download the “EA Play” app. This program is different from EA’s existing Origin launcher. To proceed, you must first link your Microsoft Account to EA Play. You can do this on the launcher by clicking on the Xbox icon and following the steps to link both of your accounts.
Once you link both accounts, restart the EA Play app to access the game. From here on, you can select and install games using either the Xbox app or the EA Play app. Notable games include:

The Xbox Game Pass is a good way to try out games first before deciding on buying them for the foreseeable eternity. Also, it would be best to check out Steam first and compare prices before buying on this platform.
