The Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro are poising themselves as flagship killers by going all out with top-end displays, chipsets, and cameras, while still being shy of the premium price points of true flagships.
Let’s start with the Xiaomi 15T Pro. It comes with a Dimensity 9400+ chip paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to a terabyte of UFS 4.1 storage. Its display is a 6.83-inch 2772 x 1280 144Hz OLED screen that peaks at 3,200nits and supports HDR10+, and is complemented by stereo speakers.
Cameras include a 50MP f/1.62 OIS main camera with a Light Fusion Sensor, a 115mm equivalent 50MP f/3.0 telephoto, a 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide, and a 32MP f/2.2 front-facing shooter. All of its rear cameras are able to take 4K120fps video while the main camera ups it to 8K30fps.
A tier below is the Xiaomi 15T, and it packs a Dimensity 8400-Ultra chipset with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. The device shares the same 6.83-inch 2772 x 1280 OLED screen as the Pro, but is slightly slower at 120Hz.
Its imaging system is equipped with a 50MP f/1.7 OIS main camera with a Light Fusion 800 sensor, a 46mm equivalent 50MP f/1.9 telephoto, a 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide, and a 32MP f/2.2 selfie camera. It lacks the 8K30fps capabilities of the Pro model, but will support 4K60fps recording.
Both the 15T and 15T Pro share a few hardware similarities between them. They come with a IP68 rating, Gorilla Glass 7i on both front and back panels, and 5,500mAh batteries. The two are also made in partnership with Leica for its cameras and come with upgraded Portrait Master modes.
Charging speeds are better on the 15T Pro as it comes with 90W HyperCharge and 50W Wireless HyperCharge while the base 15T only supports 67W charging. Additionally, the Pro model comes with WiF 7 while the 15T is compatible with WiFi 6E.
