Xiaomi has just released another beast of a smartphone with the Black Shark Helo. Packed with all the amenities that you expect from a flagship gaming smartphone, the Xiaomi Black Shark Helo comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and up to 10GB of RAM.
The Xiaomi Black Shark Helo comes with an improved screen with the smartphone having a 6.01-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display, which should deliver a a better gaming experience by providing deeper blacks and superior color. The only downside of the screen, however, is that it is running only at 60Hz compared to the faster refresh rates given by other gaming smartphones like the ROG Phone.
Providing processing power to the smartphone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC as well as up to 10GB of RAM (depending on the SKU). To keep the gaming experience for longer, the Xiaomi Black Shark Helo uses vapor chamber to cool the Qualcomm chip inside it.
Flanking the smartphone is a dual 12MP + 20MP f/1.75 camera setup while at the front is a single 20MP f/1.75 shooter. One of the bigger downsides on the Xiaomi Black Shark, however, is its lack of a 3.5mm jack. To compensate for this, Xiaomi’s latest gaming smartphone comes with front-facing stereo speakers.
