Bezelless screens are the new trend for smartphones coming in close to dual cameras. Xiaomi, responsible for one of the first bezelless smartphones in the market, has launched the next step on their bezelless smartphone range, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 sports a smaller 6.0-inch, 18:9, 2160 x 1080, display compared to the 6.4-inch 17:9 of the original Mi Mix. Xiaomi is saying that they have achieved 12% reduced bottom bezel for more screen real estate, while the front glass is curved on all sides.
Aside from the top-notch design, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 also sports a high-end SoC for excellent performance, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. The handset will come in two variants: a 6GB RAM variant and an 8GB RAM version dubbed as the Special Edition.
At the rear is a single 12MP shooter with a Sony IMX386 sensor and features 4-axis OIS, while the front is a 5MP camera. The Mi Mix 2 gets its juice from its 3,400mAh battery supplemented with Quick Charge 3.0 for faster charging. Here are the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2’s specs:

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2’s base model with 6GB + 64GB will cost RMB 3299 (around PhP 26,000), RMB 3599 (PhP 28,000) for the 6GB +128GB variant, RMB 3999 (PhP 31,000) for the 6GB + 256GB model. Meanwhile the special edition variant with 8GB + 128GB and a full ceramic unibody design is priced at RMB 4699 (PhP 37,000)
