Based on the rumors online, the Xiaomi X1 will be replacing the Redmi Pro 2. As the first smartphone in the X series, the Xiaomi X1 is said to be a mid-range tier smartphone.
Since Xiaomi’s Mi series is reserved for their high-end smartphones, the Xiaomi X1 will sport a relatively modest Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor, an Adreno 512 GPU, a fingerprint sensor, and Dual Sony IMX 362/386 rear shooters. Of course, the X1 is rumored to have a bezelless 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 2160×1080. The handset will come in both standard and high models in 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB variants with prices starting at ¥1,299 (USD 295, PhP 15,000).
