Despite the pandemic, XTREME Appliances has managed to increase its overall sales to 148% this year. The growth was made possible by the solid demand of their range of products including TVs, gas ranges, aircons, washing machines, and refrigerators.
The exponential growth of sales was fueled by the increase in demand of home improvement and the desire for household upgrades according to XTREME Appliances Vice President for Marketing Stephen Cheng.
“Some Filipinos are looking for ways to make their quarantine bearable and worthwhile. The surge in home improvements including appliances upgrade has been really impactful to the local appliance market, most especially to our brand. The fact of the matter is, these home projects and lifestyle upgrades cater to the lifestyle changes in this new normal world,” Cheng Said.
Since the first quarter of 2021, XTREME’s Android TVs has reached 52% growth compared to 2020 and is expected to continue in the last quarter to support the overall sales sat the end of the year.
XTREME Cool products that include their air conditioning units, refrigerators, and washing machines showed an average of 30% increase in demand. The brand has also noted that a growing number of Filipino households are investing in premium quality products hence the rapid increase of sales of gas range and other kitchen appliances.
XTREME Appliances has launched several new products as a show of commitment to its consumers. This include portable aircon, electric oven, large-capacity air fryer, twin-tub washing machines, inverter double-door refrigerator, deep fryer, and a variety of gas stoves.
They are currently working on expanding their reach in the country thanks to a total of 40 concept stores as of this September. More concept stores are expected to launch by the end of the year.
Aside from their own physical stores, the brand has presence on Lazada and Shopee as well as various online platforms such as Ayala Malls Zing, MetroMart, Nest Genie, and G-Life Gcash. They have also made brand establishments in large retail stores like Abenson, Ansons, S&R, All Homes, and Puregold.
XTREME Appliances has recently added Heart Evangelista-Escudero to their lineup of ambassadors to leverage brand visibility through aggressive marketing efforts.
