Been around watching YouTube videos? you may have noticed things are looking a bit different. Google updated their player into a more transparent and minimal design today.
The new video player is a lot nicer, featuring controls floating on the video itself instead of having bars around it. Additionally, the new design also saved a few pixels of the screen so you can see all the contents of the video.
The controls fully disappears after two seconds of being inactive, it will reappear again once you hover your mouse on any area of the video. Though the playlist still appear to the right of the video, only smaller.
The redesigned interface affects across all the popular browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.
