HoYoverse is slating the version 1.1 update for Zenless Zone Zero for August 14, 2024. Titled “Undercover R&B,” the update will come with new rewards, challenges, characters, and stories as well as the Hollow Zero gameplay experience “Inferno Reap.”
In its next big update, Zhu Yuan, Qingyi, and Seth will encounter the Mountain Lion Gang. By immersing themselves in the world of Special Episode “Undercover R&B,” Proxies will be able to stroll around New Eridu, complete commissions as Jane, and uncover her past with the New Eridu Public Security (N.E.P.S.)
Jane’s relationship with the player of both a friend and foe will be explored in version 1.1. She’s an S-Rank Physical Anomaly Agent that triggers “Passion State” by building up Passion Stream to unleash deadly attacks. Before she joins, however, Proxies will need to face Jane as an enemy in combat due to her status as an important member of the Mountain Lion Gang.
Qingyi will be ready to join your party as an S-Rank Electric Stun character. She can inflict Daze to stun enemies and her attack causes electric damage to build up her “Flash Connect Voltage.” She can also offer support to Zhu Yuan in combat as his trustworthy partner at N.E.P.S.
Joining Jane and Qingyi is Seth, an A-Rank Electric Defense character. He can buff you with his shield plus use his large sword to defeat enemies. In addition, S-Rank Bangboo “Officer Cui” will be able to assist Proxies in the Hollows.
In addition to regular updates to Shiyu Defense, ZZZ is introducing “Inferno Reap” to Hollow Zero. After completing the “Withering Garden” stage and related commissions, Proxies can enter a time-limited battle with Nineveh. The challenge can be attempted as many times as possible with successful runs granting in-game rewards.
Version 1.1’s event is themed as “Camellia Golden Week.” Proxies can obtain Polychroms, A-Level W-Engine, and various materials by completing event commissions. A variety of in-game events and features such as Immersive Tactical Drill, First-Class Customer Service, and an upgraded camera function with filters and selfie options additional activities.
