Found in Chapter 5, the schematic for the Line Gun Ammo can be found on a table inside a level 2 locked room. The room is unmissable as you have to traverse the room’s hallway to get to the objective “Locate the Source of the Broadcast”. Take a short detour to this very room to not only get the schematic but also a node and additional ammo.
Line Gun Ammo or Line Racks can be bought using the in-game shop for $2,100 for 3 ammo. Although expensive, it can be utilized to make infinite money in the game, albeit at a much lower efficiency compared to the Pulse Rifle.
If you weren’t able to get the Line Gun Ammo schematic during your initial visit to Engineering, don’t worry. You can still get back to to get it during the down times between chapters or during the very open Chapter 10.
