Dead Space Remake Prototype Stasis Module Effect

When using Stasis after you acquire the Prototype Stasis Module, you’ll notice that enemies are slower and are rooted in place. Unlike the base Stasis where in enemies can still move a bit, the upgraded version allows extra room to reposition yourself or to better escape hairy encounters.

Does Damage Over Time

Enemies affected with the upgraded stasis get damage over time. You can observe this as enemies have require far less damage to down after being afflicted by stasis.

Uses The Same Stasis Module Upgrades

The good thing with the upgrade is that although it does not inform you about its effects, it still uses the stasis upgrades that you have for your suit. This includes duration of the stasis and area of effect. So if you do want to take full advantage of this neat upgrade, best concentrate on unlocking upgrade nodes for stasis.
