In Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak (MHR Sunbreak), players can acquire a material called “Afflicted Fang”. You can farm this material by hunting down Afflicted Monsters. Get to know where to get an Afflicted Fang, monsters that drop it, and more using this guide.
Only the Afflicted version of the above monsters (Anomaly Quests) drop the Afflicted Fang.
Afflicted Fang can be acquired while carving. Note that you get the material as an extra material and you do not get it “directly” from carving. Also, breaking parts of the monster increases the chance of an Afflicted Fang spawning as a reward during the end of the quest.

Afflicted Fang is a late game item that can be used to upgrade weapons to the highest Rarity and also craft the rarest Decorations. For some weapons, you need a couple of these plus other Master Rank materials.
