Monsters Carrying Afflicted Monster Bone

- Royal Ludroth
- Barroth
- Basarios
Only the Afflicted version of the above monsters (Anomaly Quests) drop the Afflicted Monster Bone.
Afflicted Monster Bone Drop Rates
- 20% Broken Parts
- 20% Carves
Afflicted Monster Bone can be acquired while carving. Note that you get the material as an extra material and you do not get it “directly” from carving. Also, breaking parts of the monster increases the chance of an Afflicted Monster Bone spawning as a reward during the end of the quest.
MHR Sunbreak Afflicted Monster Bone – Item Description
A large monster bone altered by the Anomaly. The influence of influence is clear to see.
Used To Upgrade Weapons
Afflicted Monster Bone is a late game item that can be used to upgrade weapons to the highest Rarity. For some weapons, you need a couple of these plus other Master Rank materials.
