Modern Warfare 2 El Sin Nombre Campaign Mission Walkthrough & Guide

In Modern Warfare 2 (CODMW2 2022), the eleventh mission that players get to experience is called “El Sin Nombre”. Get to know how to navigate this mission, walkthrough, and useful tips using this guide.

Modern Warfare 2 El Sin Nombre Mission Walkthrough

1. Follow Diego into the Interrogation Room. Answer Valeria’s questions truthfully to survive.
2. Trail both Diego and Valeria to the elevator. Ascend and regroup with Alejandro. Wander around and find a way to the penthouse.
3. During this time, you are free to roam around and use different methods and paths to climb to the penthouse. You can either kill Diego and steal the keycard to go up, sneak past the guards and climb via the roof, or go and head in guns blazing.
4. At the penthouse, wait for Alejandro to open the door to the office. Grab a gun and use Alejandro’s Snakecam to pinpoint El Sin Nombra.
5. Burst into the room and fight the guards. Run outside after El Sin Nombre to end the mission.

Mission Reward

Completing El Sin Nombre rewards you with a “Double XP Token” that you can use in both co-op and multiplayer.

Answer The Interrogation

The start of this mission requires you to answer a couple of questions during an interrogation. In a prior cutscene, you are allowed to tell them the truth about your team’s operations in Mexico. Answer the questions truthfully and survive the interrogation to get to the next part of the mission.

Multiple Approaches

There are multiple approaches that you can take to complete El Sin Nombre. During the segment after the interrogation, you are given free rein to wander around most of the mansion’s grounds. Your objective is to reach the penthouse and you can do so through a variety of ways. You can go in guns blazing, get a keycard, or climb your way up without being spotted. Note that each approach may have unique challenges and some may require a bit of sneaking to get you through.

Unlock The Safe

Located on the second floor is a safe that you can unlock to get a shotgun and some armor plates. To unlock this safe, use the code 02 – 02 – 19.
