What Are Handguns In Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2?
Faster Than Reloading
Handguns allow you to still output decent firepower when combating enemies nearby. Reloading your primary weapon, say an LMG or a Sniper Rifle, may take time and crucial moments require you to still lay down fire. Handguns do just that. They’re effective in a pinch but then again, the firepower that they have are not equal to primary weapons. Still, better than having something than nothing.
Use Akimbo To Hold Two Handguns
While impractical in real-life, you can hold guns akimbo in Modern Warfare 2. This doubles the firepower of handguns, making them viable assault weapons. However, be watchful of your ammo reserves as two guns can easily burn through bullets like there’s no tomorrow.
