What Are LMGs In Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2?

Great Ammo Capacity

LMGs carry a good amount of ammunition to pin down enemies and to cover large areas. They can be seen as Assault Rifles with far larger ammo capacity but heavier. They can be incredibly effective when defending areas as the user only has to lie in wait and hose down any foe that would come into view. If you want to cover areas without having to deal with the drawback of missing, like a Sniper Rifle, then the LMG is the gun for you.

Low Mobility & Slow Reload

As a consequence of having a lot more ammo, LMGs are heavier and bulkier. They significantly limit the user’s mobility and you may be hard-pressed when carrying this across long trails. Aside from the weight, LMGs also have a long reload time. This is a huge disadvantage especially when you are under constant attack from the enemy team. Having a secondary gunner to cover you or to provide fire as you reload is recommended if you plan on using LMGs.
