The realme Pad 2 Lite has officially launched in India. It’s a cut-down version of the realme Pad 2 that arrived last year to cater to a more budget-conscious audience.
While it is positioned at a lower price, there are some downgrades compared to the original Pad 2. Despite that, its specifications remain pretty decent for an affordable tablet. It comes with a 10.95-inch 1920 x 1200 display that runs at 90Hz and it still comes with Quad Speakers.
Inside its chassis is a MediaTek Helio G99 chip with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It will run on Android 14 with realme UI 5.0 for Pad. An 8,300mAh battery powers the device and supports 15W SuperVOOC charging through its USB-C port.
Cameras are pretty basic with an 8MP f/2.0 shooter at the back and a 5MP f/2.2 front-facing lens. It will support 4G LTE through its SIM card slot.
The realme Pad 2 Lite will come in 4GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB variants priced at INR 14,999 and INR 16,999, respectively. It’s currently exclusive to India and there’s no word yet for a local launch.
When directly converted, the tablet is priced at around PhP 10,000 and PhP 11,500 for its two models. This doesn’t include taxes and duties yet.
