The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has officially launched alongside the Galaxy S23 and S23+. As the highest-end of the bunch, the Ultra packs quite a lot including a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, quad cameras with a 200MP f/1.7 main lens, and a Dynamic AMOLED 2X 120Hz QHD+ screen with Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

Its main camera uses pixel binning to support multiple levels of high-resolution processing at once. Samsung has also taken a focus on its “Nightography” capabilities to optimize photos and videos for a wide range of conditions thanks to its new AI-powered algorithm to enhance object details and color tone.

The primary lens will also come with doubled optical image stabilizer additional stability, 80K30fps recording, object-based AI to analyze details in the frame, plus 360 Audio Recording with the Galaxy Buds2 Pro for multi-dimensional sound.

Surprisingly, Samsung will not be using an Exynos chip and instead relying on its Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Its algorithm is improved by a dedicated NPU while gaming is bolstered by the addition of real-time ray tracing.
