Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra launches with massive 14.6-inch screen

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab S11 series alongside the new Galaxy S25 FE. This generation refreshes the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and Tab S11 from last year with hardware, software, and AI improvements.

Heading the lineup is the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, which comes with a massive 14.6-inch 2960 x 1848 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. Its large display is backed by a 11,600mAh battery that supports 45W Fast Charging to make it last throughout the day. All these weigh in a package just shy of 700g.

On the other hand, those who want something more portable at only 469g can check out the Galaxy Tab S11 which comes with a manageable 11-inch 2560 x 1600 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with an 8,400mAh battery with 45W Fast Charging.

Both tablets do share some hardware between them. They will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage with the Ultra having an option for 512GB. The two also come with a 13MP main camera and a 12MP front-facing shooter though the Ultra variant has an extra 8MP ultrawide at the back. Their chassis also come with IP68 dust and water resistance and Samsung’s Armor Aluminum to help with long-term durability.

The Galaxy Tab S11 series heavily relies on AI for its multitasking and productivity features. One UI 8, based on Android 16, comes with Gemini Live to answer contextual questions for whatever’s on screen with a conversational answer. You can even summarize a length article or carry out commands by holding the side button.

For creatives, these tablets can be used to draw and rough sketches can be turned into clean visuals with Drawing Assist. Writing Assist can help rework tone and style to match your intended meaning.

In addition to Galaxy AI, Samsung DeX is also supported this generation. This enables these tablets to be used as a laptop for better multitasking and flexibility. Also new to Samsung DeX is the ability to create up to 4 customizable workspaces for different needs such as work, creative projects, or planning personal trips.

Samsung is bundling the Galaxy Tab S11 series with a 1-year free version of Goodnotes, a 6-month free trial for Clip Studio Paint with a 20% discount on your first subscription, and 66% off LumaFusion with a 1-month free Creator Pass. Notion will also come with a 1-month free trial of its Plus Plan with Notion AI.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Series will arrive in the Philippines on September 26, 2025.
