Tacticus Aethana – Autarch

Aethana

Autarchs are renowned for their strategic brilliance, sublime martial skill and indomitable strength of will. Wielding tactics mastered across millenia of battle, they apply all that they have learned to their command of the Asuryani war hosts.

Tacticus Aethana Abilities

Swooping Hawk

Flies over and deals a wave of damage from an initial melee target to targets up to 2 hexes behind. 1x X Piercing Damage to first target, 1x X Piercing Damage to the second, and 1x X Piercing Damage to the third. Lands in the hex directly behind the last target hit, or – in case that hex is occupied – to the closest free hex to it.

This ability’s Damage ignores all of the attacker bonuses and modifiers (including elevation), and cannot Crit.

Path of Command

Friendly units within 2 hexes deal +X Damage and their Crit chance – if they have one – is increased by +X%. Aeldari unitrs deal an additional +X Damage.

Tacticus Aethana Traits

Flying

Can traverse impassable hexes and enemies and move between any elevation. Does not get any bonuses from Tall Grass and Trenches.

Deep Strike

In this unit’s first turn only, it may instantly move to any free hex on the battlefield that is not adjacent to an enemy unit. It cannot be attacked until after this move.
