A former Iron Priest of the forge, Arjac is a towering mass of muscle and a taciturn anvil of endurance who upholds the honour of the Chapter. Wielding the enormous Foehammer, Arjac crushes his enemies with pulverising strength.
Deals 1x X Power Damage to an enemy within range 2 and the target is Stunned until the beginning of Arjac’s next turn. For each Arjac that has been defeated in this battle, this ability deals +Y Damage.
Arjac blocks an additional X Damage and when he Blocks he covers the attacker’s hex in Ice. If Arjac is below 35% Health, or if his attacker is on a hex covered in Ice he gains +Y% Block chance and if he blocks a melee attack, the attacker is Stunned until the end of the attacker’s next turn.
If this unit is not already at 1 Health and would be defeated, its Health is instead reduced to 1 Health unless Overkilled
This unit starts the battle in Deep Strike.
Units in Deep Strike can move to any free hex on the battlefield that is not adjacent to an enemy, or they can move normally from their current position. They cannot be targeted or damage until they have taken an action or ended their turn.
The first attack each turn against this unit deals -75% Damage. Hits dealing Psychic or Direct Damage are excluded. This unit cannot be Suppressed.
This unit does not have to stop on Hex effects like Fire, Razor Wire, Broken Ice, and others that would normally force a unit to end their Movement.
Arjac’s kit makes hiim an effective Tank for your team. He can Deep Strike, has Terminator Armour, and his passive grants him even more additional defense. The kicker here is that he can also Stun. A lot. Attacker’s that continuously attack him get stunned because of his passive and his active ability is a ranged Stun. Neat, eh?
Whenever Arjac kills an enemy unit, his first ability becomes stronger. You can use Arjac to specifically target small-fry first before you use the hammer to strike the strongest enemy. Be wary though as this may take time and even a chargeless Foehammer can be useful in itself due to its stun.
