Tacticus Azkor – Exalted Eightbound

Azkor

Each Eightbound is possessed by an octet of Khornate daemons. Achieving a form of apotheosis, as their mortal soul conquers the daemons that share its body, Exalted Eightbound exhibit a purer and more focused rage – one that is directed entirely at their foes.

Tacticus Azkor Abilities

Overwhelming Wrath

Until the beginning of his next turn Azkor Taunts all adjacent enemies and takes -48% damage from ranged attacks. Deals 2x X Eviscerating Damage to all adjacent enemies at the beginning of Azkhor’s next turn.

Beacon of Rage

For each time he was attacked in battle, up to a maximum of 8 times, Azkhor deals +X damage. If Azkor has defeated an enemy in this battle, 50% of the extra damage granted by Beacon of Rage is added to the damage of melee attacks of adjacent friendly Chaos units.

Tacticus Azkor Traits

Blessings of Khorne

Deals 3% more damage and receives 8% less Psychic Damage for each unit that was defeated in melee this battle. Counts up to a maximum of 8 defeated units.

Daemon

This unit has an additional 25% chance to Block up to 50% of its own current Damage stat.

Resilient

If this unit is not already at 1 Health and would be defeated, its Health is instead reduced to 1 Health, unless Overkilled.

Terrifying

Takes -30% Damage from Melee attacks.

Unstoppable

This unit does not have to stop on Hex effects like Fire, Razor Wire, Broken Ice, and others that would normally force a unit to end their Movement.

How To Use Azkor

Use To Hold Enemies

Azkor can tie down several units at once provided that he gets to melee range. Using Overwhelming Wrath, he can taunt multiple enemies, preventing them from moving. Fortunately, the same skill grants additional protection from ranged attacks and Azkor’s passive grants him protection from melee.

Damage Booster

Beacon of Rage, Azkor’s passive, grants additional damage bonuses to adjacent Chaos allies. A viable strategy would be to place Azkor directly in the middle of the fight so he can soak up damage. On the next turn, position friendly Chaos units beside him and have Azkor kill an enemy unit to grant a significant boost to your allies.
