These living artillery pieces nurture a clutch of Spore Mines within their bodies. After anchoring themselves to the ground with their chitinous spurs, the creatures fire their living ammunition in high arcs into the midst of the foe where it detonates with sudden violence.
Targets an enemy on the battlefield. If there are 3 or more Spore Mines on the battlefield, all Spore Mines immediately take a turn, moving towards the targets, if possible. Otherwise, summon 3 Spore Mines in free hexes adjacent to the target. Spore Mines have X Health and deal 1x Y Toxic Damage with Floating Death.
Initial Cooldown: 2 rounds.
Cost: 1 munition.
Summons a Spore Mine onto a free hex on the battlefield that is not adjacent to an enemy. Spore Mines have X Health and deal Y Toxic Damage with Floating Death.
Enemies that are damaged by a friendly Spore Mine take +10% Damage from attacks by Mythic characters for 1 round.
Machines of War stand beside the battlefield and provide two additional powerful abilities to use multiple times during the battle. Some of them cost Munitions and some have a cooldown before you can use them. Machines of War cannot be targeted in their off-battlefield position and are destroyed when a battle is lost.
Not every game mode allows to field Machines of War!
The Biovore, unlike other Machines of War, delivers damage through the use of Spore Mines. These mines act like units in the battlefield and are targetable. For PvE, these mines can help you take off the heat from your main team, allowing you a bit of breathing space to position your characters.
The first ability of the Biovore surrounds the target with 3 Spore Mines. These Spore Mines can then explode and deal a good amount of damaged if decently leveled up. Note that Spores that get overkilled do not explode.
