Tacticus Galatian – Redemptor Dreadnought

Tacticus Galatian Redemptor Dreadnought

Redemptor Dreadnoughts are some of the largest of their kind ever fielded by the Adeptus Astartes. Armed to the teeth, they can be equipped to utterly destroy any kind of battlefield target with hails of solid shot, super-heated plasma or crushing redemptor fist.

Tacticus Galatian Abilities

Duty Eternal

Summons Galatian as a stationary unit in a 3 hex area on the battlefield. After using this ability, Galatian can no longer be used as a Machine of War for the rest of the battle.
Initial cooldown: 2 rounds.

Macro Plasma Incinerator

Marks a target hex and two hexes behind it for 1 round. Deals 3x X Plasma Damage to all enemies in the marked area the first time an enemy unit ends their movement in it.
Initial cooldown: 1 round.
This ability’s Damage ignores all of the attacker bonuses and modifiers (including elevation), and cannot Crit.

Tacticus Galatian Traits

Machine of War

Machines of War stand beside the battlefield and provide two additional powerful abilities to use multiple times during the battle. Some of them cost Munitions and some have a cooldown before you can use them. Machines of War cannot be targeted in their off-battlefield position and are destroyed when a battle is lost.
Not every game mode allows to field Machines of War!

How To Use Galatian

Get A Mech

Galatian can be summoned via its first ability, “Duty Eternal”. Once summoned, Galatian becomes controllable and can be used to destroy the remaining units in the field. Do note that using removes Galatian as a Machine of War. Just make sure that Galatian is properly leveled up before you summon him as a squishy Galatian is a twice dead Redemptor Dreadnought!

Incinerate Thine Foes!

The Macro Plasma Incinerator deals a good amount of damage if an enemy moves inside or outside a certain area. Maximize this by targeting choke points or your character’s melee range so that enemies are damaged before your squad delivers the killing blow.
