The Primus is a Genestealer Cult’s ultimate military commander. Besides being deadly combatants in their own right, their mastery of insurgent tactics transforms their followers from a rebellious mob into a lethal military machine.
Targets an enemy unit within 2 hexes and places decoys on up to X random free hexes within 2 hexes around the target. Then summons Neophyte Hybrids on half of all the friendly decoys in that area and all Neophyte Hybrids in that area immediately take a turn.
When an enemy moves onto a friendly decoy, it takes 1x X Blast Damage. When a friendly unit resurrects onto or moves onto a friendly decoy, it deals +Y Damage until the end of its turn, and if it is a Genestealer Cults unit, it also places a new decoy in a free adjacent hex.
The first time this unit is defeated, it leaves behind a decoy and at the beginning of their next turn, if there is still a friendly decoy on the battlefield, it is resurrected with full Health on a random friendly decoy and can immediately take a turn. Isaaks resurrect before non-character units.
If it’s summoning Neophyte Hybrids is what you’re after, better bring this guy. Isaak’s active and passive abilities make decoys available for the team, allowing spots for resurrection. Furthermore, you can also use the active ability to go on the offensive, spawning AI teammates to swarm enemies or take aggro.
