A Blade Champion’s role is to identify the greatest battlefield threat and ensure its swift destruction. They are well-equipped for the task, wielding crackling archeotech blades in a variety of combat styles, each perfect for dealing with a different kind of foe.
Deals 3x X Eviscerating Damage to an adjacent enemy. This attack and attacks from Legacy of Combat this turn deal +25% Damage for each turn in which Kariyan performed an attack this battle. This ability can be used multiple times per battle but has a cooldown of 2 rounds.
After performing his first attack each turn, Kariyan performs an additional attack. If he is adjacent to an enemy Big Target, this attack deals 1x X Piercing Damage to it. If there is no adjacent enemy Big Target, Kariyan deals 3x Y Power Damage to each adjacent enemy instead.
Normal attacks against this unit deal -20% Damage. This unit deals +100% Damage with all attacks against Summons.
Deals +20% melee Damage to Big Targets and Vehicles. Has an added 10% chance to Block 20% of its max Health as damage.
This unit has +1 Movement until it makes either a melee or ranged attack. Its first attack each battle and all following attacks it makes in the same turn deal +25% damage.
This unit reduces incoming melee multi-hit attacks by 1 hit, to a minimum of 1.
If this unit is not already at 1 Health and would be defeated, its Health is instead reduced to 1 Health, unless Overkilled.
Kariyan’s first skill allows him to get more damage the more he attacks. Be sure to accompany him with a healer to keep him in the battlefield, allowing him to get more attacks in and a lot more damage with each strike.
Kariyan is a character that can repeatedly use an ability, requiring only two turns to get a charge. Use this to your advantage if you want to farm objectives that require you to use a lot of abilities. You can look for a mission with weak enemies and simply pass until you get charges for his ability. Use the ability, pass; rinse and repeat.
