Psychic abomination; alpha predator; parasitic demigod – the Patriarch is all of these things and worse. Prowling the shadows of embattled worlds, they are the source of the bio corruption that spawns each Genestealer Cult cell.
Deals 5x X Psychic Damage to an adjacent enemy, then summons a Purestrain Genestealer on each decoy adjacent to the Patermine. The Purestrain Genestealers can immediately attack in melee, but cannot move this turn.
Whenever the Patermine defeats an enemy, it places a decoy on the hex of that enemy. Other enemies surrounding the defeated unit have a X% chance to be Suppressed for 1 round, and have a X% chance to trigger Battle Fatigue a second time, if they have it. When the Patermine moves onto a decoy, it heals itself for Y Health.
This unit does not trigger Overwatch
Friendly units within 2 hexes ignore the effects of Instinctive Behaviour and Battle Fatigue.
Takes -30% Damage from Melee attacks.
This unit does not have to stop on Hex effects like Fire, Razor Wire, Broken Ice and others that would normally force a unit to end their Movement.
Another summoner unit, the Patermine can use its active ability to spawn a Purestrain Genestealer to add more chaos to the fight. It’s also worth noting that the active ability can damage quite a lot given that the damage is Psychic in nature.
