These theocratic generals lead congregations of warriors in binharic prayer and direct those beneath them with precision strategies. They are masters of machines, as capable of healing damage to their creations as they are at destroying the enemy’s corrupted engines.
Deals 1x X Toxic Damage to all units in a straight line in one of 6 directions and adds Contamination to all hexes in the line. All units hit are Suppressed for 1 round. The lenth of the line starts at 2 hexes and increases by 1 hex for each round that has passed and by 1 hex each time a friendly Mechanic restores Health of a unit.
This ability’s Damage ignores all of the attacker bonuses and modifiers (including elevation), and cannot Crit.
When Vitruvius performs a normal attack against an enemy, that enemy is affected by Master Annihilator until Vitruvius is defeated or performs a normal attack against a different unit. Attacks by any friendly unit against the affected enemy score an additional hit except attacks that deal Psychic Damage. This additional hit can deal a maximum of X Damage.
Cannot be healed, but can be repaired instead.
Note: units with the Living Metal trait also count as being Mechanical
Can repair a friendly Mechanical unit as its action. The amount of Health restored equals the Mechanic’s Damage multiplied by the highest number of hits of any of their weapons.
Vitruvius can help allies deal a good amount of damage by just hitting an enemy. As long as Vitruvius maintains the attack or does not attack a different enemy, allies can score an additional hit with the damage determined by his Master Annihilator’s level. Note that this is ANY ally and not specifically a member of his faction, so you can take advantage of this passive regardless if you partner him with an Imperial, Xenos, or even Chaos.
Mechanical Units like the Necrons and fellow Adeptus Mechanicus can be healed by Vitruvius. Healing units can also prove to be advantageous given that Vitruvius’ active ability increases in length whenever a Mechanical Unit gets healed.
