For an annual fee starting from PhP 125 to PhP 2,500 (depending on the device value), Smart Phone Protect provides basic protection coverage for your device such as screen repair, accidental damage, and liquid damage. Advanced level protection covering theft or loss from fire, Smart offers Phone Protect+ for an annual fee ranging anywhere from PhP 180 to PhP 3,600.

Meanwhile, device coverage for both Phone Protect and Phone Protect+ ranges from PhP 5,000 to PhP 100,000 depending on your Smart plan.

Smart Phone Protect may cover new and old devices in good functioning condition and may apply to devices purchased from Smart and the open market. This ensures that subscribers – be it prepaid or postpaid – can benefit from the service.

Smart subscribers may sign up for a Smart Phone Protect plan via their official website. You’ll need to fill out your name, mobile number, email address, and phone details. You can then choose your preferred plan and payment terms, then settle it via mobile wallet, debit, or credit card. You’ll receive a copy of your policy via email once successful.

Smart Phone Protect is powered by Igloo, an InsureTech company, to simply repair or replacement process that promises a quick turnaround for claims especially for Metro Manila users. For device repair coverage, you can have it repaired as fast as 24 hours to reduce your downtime and inconvenience.
