In Total War: Warhammer 3, players can choose two mounts to grant their Heralds of Khorne additional stats. But which one should you choose between the Juggernaut vs Blood Throne? What are the differences? Read this guide to know more!
Only two units can use the Juggernaut and the Blood Throne as a mount. For Lords, Heralds of Khorne; for heroes, Bloodreapers. Both units can be recruited by the Exiles of Khorne and the Legion of Chaos factions. Both mounts can be unlocked once the lord/hero reaches level 9.
Description: Mighty beasts of groaning iron and brass, taller than a man and possessed of a crushing mass.
Description: A mighty Daemon Engine, clad in brass armour and driven into battle on iron-shod wheels.
Both the Juggernaut and the Blood Throne have different strengths. If you prefer having your lord or hero in the middle of the fight, get the Juggernaut for its high Weapon Damage and additional combat stats. For those looking to flank or have a sturdy character fighting the enemy’s backlines, get the faster Blood Throne.
If you want to experiment and have a skill point to spare, you can get both mounts. As long as you have both of them unlocked, you can change your Herald of Khorne’s or Bloodreaper’s mount to either the Juggernaut or Blood Throne once every turn.
For lords, your ultimate goal for them is to help them ascend to an Exalted Greater Daemon. Exalted Greater Daemons are stronger, far more durable, and have better abilities than a normal Herald of Khorne. Reach level 15 to receive a prompt on transforming your Herald of Khorne to an Exalted Greater Daemon.
