In Total War: Warhammer 3, you can level up your lords to unlock more skills and abilities. It can be challenging to choose a build for your lords and characters, which leaves us with the question: can you respec or reset skills after assigning the points? Read this guide to know more!
There is no way to respec or reset skills in Total War Warhammer 3. Once you choose a skill to allot a point to and leave the skill window, that skill is there to stay. No takebacks. So before deciding on which skill to pick, plan for what you want your lord to be. Do you want a lord that is excellent in combat or one that rains down magic upon your enemies? While a hybrid lord is okay, a specialized lord is arguably better during the early-mid parts of the game. However, you can go crazy with the skills once you hit the max level.
While there is no way to reset assigned skill points, you can still undo mistakes for points that you just allotted provided that you did not close the skill window. You can click on the undo button whenever you make a mistake or want the skill point assigned to a more advantageous trait or skill.
While there is no official way to respec or reset skills in the game, modders have made respec mods since the first Total War: Warhammer and it is likely to be the same here in Warhammer 3. It is only a matter of time before a respec or reskill mod appears. Just make sure to download it via official channels and read reviews or comments first just to be on the safe side.
