Expeditions Rome is a CRPG that features a lot of endings. Depending on your choices, things significantly change in the latter part of the game. So let’s try to list all of the possible endings and see how you can get them.
Obviously, this guide is full of spoilers. Also, this is a work in progress and will be updated in the coming days.
The Moment of Truth is the fork before the end of your adventure. Here, you get to decide the ultimate fate of Rome. After your adventures and troubles with your vengeance, you finally have control of your destiny. Should you march into Rome with your legion or should you wait and battle it out with words inside the Senate? Your choice here greatly affects Act IV of the game so choose wisely! Or you can just save and replay it from here if you’re curious about the other path.
Some endings, such as exile and sacrifice, are found in both paths in The Moment of Truth. However, while they ultimately lead to the same fate, they are from different scenarios. This means that you can view two different endings depending on how you went with them. Did you make a sacrifice after you marched your legion into Rome? Or did you make it after exhausting all means just to protect your friends? Both lead to the same ending but both feature different dialogues and endings for you and your companions. So take note of that when replaying for the endings.
