The Berserker is a hero class in Tribes of Midgard that specializes in offensive skills. It passively gains a new resource called “Rage” that increases the user’s attack speed. To add more damage, the Berserker also has a skill that grants up to 40% critical hit chance, making it one of the highest DPS classes in the game. True to its name, it can kill enemy units to stun nearby mobs and the Berserker can also increase its resistances to Stuns and other status ailments.

Unfortunately, the Berserker is one of the hardest classes to unlock as you need to kill 20 enemies within 10 seconds. While you can do this faster by assaulting goblin camps, you can use the method outlined below for a surer way to unlock it.
How To Unlock The Tribes of Midgard’s Berserker
- Start a new game. Level up once and pick the Warrior class for boosted damage. Once you level up again, choose the Axe Mastery passive skill. Continue and unlock Mana-based skills.
- Spend your days by gathering materials and building up the village. Make sure to get as much Stone, Iron, and Wood as you can.
- Defeat the first Jotunn and continue to build the base. Remember to upgrade the shops. To make the unlocking of the Berserker easier, upgrade the weapons shop to level 4.
- Craft the Nornir Axe II. This is a lightning axe and you’ll be using it at night to quickly dispatch invading enemies!
- Remember the Stones, Irons, and Wood? Use them to construct a gate at one of the entrances to the tree. South-side is recommended as it’ll be easier when using the Axe’s linear special attack.
- Last until Day 8 or 9. Yes, this is long time in the game but this is one of the best ways to get the Berserker. Wait until the evening and prepare. Make sure to have the chosen side’s gate uprgraded to the maximum Level 3.
- Close the gate and wait for the enemies to pile up. Attack once you see an ample number of enemies gathered outside the gate.
- Drop down from the tower and attack with your axe. Use your special attack to quickly clear huge swathes of the horde.
- Kill and kill until you get the Berserker.
- If you unfortunately lack the numbers, wait for another night and repeat the steps.
- You do not need to go through the Bifrost once the unlock message appears at the lower right-hand side of the screen.
- Go to the main menu and go to Progression > Career Progression and “Claim” the Berserker achievement.
