Tribes of Midgard Seer Class – How To Unlock Fast

The Seer is one of the 8 classes in Tribes of Midgard and is arguably the best class for solo players. It comes with a particular set of skills that have great synergy with each other and is generally useful in whatever situation. It’s also pretty simple to unlock as you only need to use the Bifrost 10 times during Saga mode. By simple, we mean time consuming.

To activate a Bifrost, you must defeat the first Jotunn. Do this 10 times and you get to unlock the Seer. Sounds easy but again quite repetitive. While you can do it naturally, like playing the game 10 times alone or with friends, it will definitely take time especially if you’re also aiming to unlock the other classes. With this guide, we can give you a way to easily beat the Jotunn and unlock the Bifrost within 20 minutes for each run.

How To Unlock The Tribes of Midgard’s Seer

To unlock the Seer in Tribes of Midgard, you need to use the Bifrost to exit Worlds 10 times in Saga Mode. This requires you or your team to defeat the first Jotunn.

Here are some tips that can help you in your quest to unlock the Seer:

1. Unlock the Berserker Class – Although not a requirement, the Berserker class has the largest damage output of any class in the game. This will certainly help you breeze through any Jotunn’s HP. If you don’t have the Berserker unlocked, you can still use the Warrior class.
2. Leave your base alone – You can leave your base at night and concentrate on farming materials to prepare for your upcoming Jotunn fight. Upgrade shops up to level 2 but make sure to upgrade the weapons to level 3. This helps at night as you can leave your base to farm without any worry as you have strong shopkeeps to defend it.
3. Craft a Tier 3 Weapon – Tier 3 weapons, the blue ones, offer a substantial increase in damage. While you can beat the Jotunn with a Tier 2 weapon, Tier 3 is highly recommended due to its immense damage output which can shorten your run time.
4. Level up as fast as you can – The higher your level, the more skills you unlock. Clear camps to get loads of XP. Go for builds that grant your class with additional damage. For the Berserker, make sure to get “Wrath Unleashed” and “Axe Mastery” if you’re an axe user.
5. Mine some Silver – You can mine Silver ores in the “Land of the Pools” biome. With this material, you can get Tier 2 armor that may improve your chances in surviving attacks from the Jotunn. You can also get some “Linnorm Spike” in the Land of Pools for the Nornir Axe I, the easiest elemental weapon to craft in the game.
6. Defeat the Jotunn – the first Jotunn spawns during the second half of day 2. You can wait for it to come nearer by farming during the 2nd night. Once the morning of day 3 arrives, you can hunt it down and kill it to access the Bifrost. Remember to stock up on Potions and to be prepared. Speed Potions also help a lot.
7. Return to base and use the Bifrost – Once you down the first Jotunn, go home using the teleport rune. Once you return back to base, head towards the Bifrost to activate it and finish a run.

Takes Approximately 20 Minutes Per Run

This run takes an average of approximately 20 minutes to do. It can be shorter if you get a good world seed or if you get powerful runes during the initial hours. Repeat until you get the prompt that you have unlocked the Seer. Always remember not to rush it and tread carefully!
